CONFERENCES

We organise conference on various themes of Allergy with National and International participation as speakers and delegates.
  • Allergen Specific Immunotherapy (ASIT) Conference was organised in 2016 at The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore 
  • A one-day CME on Allergy disorders management was organised in 2006 at Victoria Hospital campus, Bangalore.

Periodically we have been conducting some of the most practical oriented workshops in allergy.

WEBINARS

We have been conducting the webinars since the COVID pandemic to continue our academic endeavours. 
  • ‘Allergy Asthma Chat’, earlier to 2023, was jointly organised by BAF Academy with Indian College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ICAAI). This event occurs periodically once in 15 days, on Sundays between 11 am & 1 pm. 
  • During ‘World Allergy Week’ every year, we conduct special ‘Patient Allergy Education’ online sessions on various topics of ‘Allergy’ for the benefit of the community.

Researchship

  • BAF provides research opportunities for all Healthcare Professionals, Post graduate students in Medical Sciences, Pharmacy and Biotechnology. Either through providing a platform to conduct research in one of the affiliates, or through research grants.
  • Sponsored 50% fellowship with SERB-CII Prime Minister’s fellowship for Doctoral research.
  • Provided incubation opportunities for M-Pharm, Pharm D students to perform Allergy related research work.
